15.02.11 – Ystävänpäivä is the Finnish word for Valentine’s Day and the literal translation is Friends Day. Two DJs, Anni and Arttu, from Radio SuomiPOP, the most popular radio station in Helsinki, were at Kamppi giving away hugs and sweets to anyone who wanted them. I was lucky and stumbled upon the event when Anni was giving out the hugs and Sinuhe Valentine’s cookies
The two started off the day at the Lastenklinikalle, Children’s Hospital, dressed as funny animals to spread some love. How cool is that? Made my Valentines!!!
