14.10.10 – What do you do when you’ve moved into a new place and you’ve emptied all of the moving boxes? Head to Ikea to pickup what you’re still missing. I needed a couch, a mattress for Max’s loft bed and a few other bits and bots. I felt like I was visiting Ikea a bit closer to its roots when I visited the Espoo store in Finland but I had to google “who owns Ikea” to find out, although the company has Swedish roots, it’s not owned by the Swedes, it’s actually a group of companies from the Netherlands that owns it. I was thinking the Japanese owned it but no, that’s North Face. Oh well, who knows or cares who owns what. I managed to find what I was looking for and I’ll be damned if the Swedish Meatballs don’t taste like Swedish Meatballs. All was good.
