07.11.10 – Sure the days are getting shorter but the sunsets are still long and full of color. Sunday was full of groups of cumulus clouds marching across the sky which could lead you to think you were going schizophrenic. It’s going to be a bright beautiful day! Get inside there’s a twister! It’s going to be a bright beautiful day! I experienced not one but two snowstorms which seemed to come out of nowhere. Emma asked me to pick her up in the car because she was coming home from a sleepover and we were on a street where the sun was shining brightly but at the next intersection, about 30 yards away, snow was blowing so strongly the people crossing the street were leaning into the wind, holding heavy scarves up to protect their faces. Oh, boy, what have I got myself into?
Things mellowed out considerably by the end of the day and the sunset was spectacular. No snow on the ground just beautiful, neon clouds in the sky.
